O'Reilly: Air America Getting Too Much Publicity

For an operation with just six stations, the Democratic Party's liberal radio network has been getting a ton of coverage from its friends in the liberal media, says Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly.

"Never in the history of the American press has one tiny enterprise gotten so much free publicity," O'Reilly told his TV audience on Friday. "The reason, of course, is that the elites want liberal bomb throwers to embarrass and defame people with whom they disagree. It's like hiring hit men and women."

O'Reilly, of course, is one of those targets, along with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. But while the other two hosts have pretty much ignored the debut of "Air America," the Fox News host scorched the press for paying so much attention to the otherwise unspectacular development.

Noting that his own "Radio Factor" broadcast is heard nationwide on 405 stations, O'Reilly said, "Guess how many articles the New York Times has done on us? Zero."

Savage backed out of a chance to be on nightline to debate Franken but backed out. You will NEVER see Rush on a talk show after Letterman gave him a dose of red ass. O'Reilly has been only on Fox news and radio mostly after Franken gave him a beatdown.
Why?
Cause they know they cant control there environment. No Screeners, No mute button and probably one pissed off, smart Dem or lib Like Franken or Rhodes that will be ready and waiting to debate them.
So you will only see them on Right wing friendly shows like all of Fox, Hardball, Scarborough, ect.
They could promote more but then they would leave themselves open to real debate and thats something that they are scared shitless to do.
