1. Not Bad

I saw an interview with a mom who lost her son in Iraq and she was angry and challenged Bush to come and explain to her just why her son or anyone else had to die in Iraq.

If the military could talk.....

2. Some of us do talk...

...just not officially. As a member of the military, I have let it be known anonymously how I feel about Shrub*s war, and if I felt that risking prison would help end the war, I would make my feelings public.

I do what I can to let DUers know that not all of us military types are brain-dead freepers (one difference is, most freepers are too chickenshit to actually enlist - they prefer to sit on the sideline and wave flags, for all the good that does), and more than a few of us are sick to death of having those pissants in WaDC send us off to war to fight and die for oil access.

By the way, I'm a veteran with 18 years of service, still serving, and looking forward to getting the f*ck out. I figure this makes me a hell of a lot more qualified than *AWOL to wear a flightsuit.

4. One of my employees is in the National Guard.

She's VERY anti-Bush, and says that most of her military friends feel the same way. The funny thing is, she isn't even registered to vote! I am going to bring registration forms in to her. She was a big Dean fan, but I think I can talk her into a vote for Kerry. :-)
