Rudy Giuliani proves his hypocracy on "Meet The Press"
Rudy Giuliani was on "Meet The Press" today, and I have to say it was not a very good appearance. Americans will always love Rudy for what he did for New York and the country after Sept. 11th, but unfortunately he has hurt himself with alot of Americans in the past two years. First of all Rudy helped get that moronic little gnome Bloomberg elected. Bloomberg is hated by almost every firefighter and policeman in NY, for not paying them anywhere near what they deserve, and for showing then disrespect time and again. Also Guliani has hurt himself by becoming a Bush "butt boy". It amazes me that Rudy is too political to acknowledge that Bush is exploiting 9/11 for his own political gains (while saying nothing about the 500+ Americans he had let die in Iraq). Rudy also apparently does not care that Bush has withheld massive amounts of monry for the first responders such as Firemen and cops and EMS workers. Rudy needs to wake up and realize what the rest of America knows...That George Bush cares more about his re-election and his own personal gain then he does about the security of America.

1. Cabinet position
Gulliani is hoping for a cabinet position if * gets re-elected. I never even got what everyone was so hep about after 9/11. He basically told people to keep shopping.

2. He is a whore

He and his new wife are very self centered people. Do the people in New York still like this slimy jerk?

One thing I will have to say when Bush pulled his Houdini Act on 9 11, Rudy really covered his ass.

5. No, they don't
Do the people in New York still like this slimy jerk?

I think the rest of the country like Giulliani better than New Yorkers did after 9/11.

The qualities that made him such a great "leader" during the crisis also made him a complete fascist (and I don't use that word lightly) during his entire administration up to that point. The only reason he won two terms is because the democratic opposition was pretty weak and the economy was pretty good.

I wonder if the museums are doing worse now that he isn't here to tell us what is offensive or not. After he denounced the Brooklyn Museum's British Art show, attendance went through the roof.

6. Rudy spent his 9/11 currency
Edited on Mon Mar-08-04 06:30 PM by rocknation
by unsealing the juvenile records of a man the cops killed (he'd been in no legal trouble since the age of 14); and attempting to withold disbursement of the city's 9/11 victim contributions until March (only a public outcry made him change his mind).

7. This is just my opinion, but
I don't think that Mr. Guiliani was that spectacular on September 11. He did his job, he handled the situation and kept people calm. That is what I would expect from the official in charge. The reason I think that everyone thought he was so spectacular was because Mr. Bush behaved so poorly.
