Has anyone heard who will be replacing the Young Turks on AAR?

3. I'm bummed here in L.A. we lost Mr. K & Lisa...I thought they were great..

I don't know if we got the Young Turks here on KTLK/11.50. Obviously, if they came on at a time when I normally listen, I'd know. Changes,changes,changes....

9. Some stations had to change over the weekend

Many of these stations are automated. The computer runs the show. Meaning that quite a bit has to be changed in order to switch to a show from a different syndicator (in this case Jones Radio Networks). Each network runs on their own "clocks" that determine when local breaks and whatnot are scheduled. If it's not set up right, mayhem ensues. I would assume that it is much easier for the engineer or program director to do this kind of work on the weekend, rather than rushing through it on a Tuesday.

I don't necessarily think that they wanted to purposely yank them off the air. They could have done that long ago.

8. They should have an evening show

Or maybe afternoon. They'd have a more receptive audience than the early AM listeners.

10. The Turks are now doing a net-only show from 3-5P

I assume this will allow them to sleep in a bit, rather than do their morning show from 3-6A from the West Coast.
