Are tv shows like the 700 Club tax free?

I watched it for a while the other day. It was like an infomercial selling the republicans and booosh. How can this be ?

They pay for the airtime, and I believe contributions count as "church contributions" which is how those motherfuckers get so motherfuckin' rich.
