24/7? I can't watch the news all day today. It started at early this am and has not let up. Is this the best our "media", our "journalists" can come up with. I would like to believe the story of the Italian journalist would be far more important. Maybe I'm just "stupid" and I don't know what is really important.

Maybe we all need to mobilize really fast, if we could, and blast away at the lack of coverage on this major issue, (it is going to play big in Europe the next several days). We need to demand coverage of this and ask them to please stop inundating us with mindless bullshit about Martha and how she survived 5 months in Camp Cupcake, and how will she survive the next 5 months with an ankle bracelet, a 30 minute segment on ankle bracelets and the "stigma" attached, and so sorry for the run on, run off rant and sentence. I had to take a breath.

6. I Woke Up Last Night

before midnight and flipped through the cable channels. I came across CNN and saw the crew standing outside with live coverage of something. I thought to myself "Oh no, something terrible and/or important has happened". Well it took two minutes to realize it was about Martha's release from prison. OK, thats great. I didn't follow it much, but great. But hours of live coverage? Across several states? Geesh.....I think there are more important things to cover live than Martha going home. But that's just me. She did look happy though. That was nice to see.

I've been wondering why Martha has served jail time, when Ken Lay is still running around a free man.

After all, thanks to Ken Lay, many of Enron employees lost the money they had saved for their childrens' college education, etc.
