A question about Lou Dobbs.
I just watched a very good show he did on "secure" borders. And when I am surfing through the channels, I often will stop to watch Lou Dobbs if he is on.

I really don't care for the rest of CNN. Too news-lite, too talking head. But he seems to know his subject and is really interested in only facts. After giving the Republican spiel on the upgrading of the borders, and explaining why it would not work, he interviewed a Republican Senator (I can't remember the name) who gave the same spiel almost word for word.

Is he a Democrat or a Rockefeller Republican?

1. He's a Democrat in Republican drag...something about these financial
guys, a rule, says that they can't really ever be Democrats. If you liked this, you should have seen his outsourcing series for several months leading up to the election. It all added up to, Vote for Kerry, but Dobbs just couldn't squeeze it out. Lou, take your Metamucil!!!

3. I did see parts of his outsourcing series, but am rarely home in time
to watch him.

He seems more tempered and deliberate than most others on M$M. Less emotional, more factual.

5. The outsourcing series was amazing. He covered the issue every
night, named names (had a list of oursourcers), and had proponents on and kicked them around in his condescending style. Too bad the network news didn't do anything like that. It was devastating.

2. He Is A Republican That Understands That Our Democracy Depends Upon
A strong economic middle class.

Hence, he has been an ardent critic of outsourcing which is destroying the middle class.

4. Dobbs...
Before the election 2004, he came out and stated he would vote for the candidate that would close the tax loopholes that encouraged outsourcing.

I've watched Lou for many years. He's fair and clobbers Democrats, Republicans and corporations when they need it.

FYI... his show repeats at 11 pm est.

7. I don't mind anyone clobbering whoever needs it. But I do mind if
it is a partisan attack. Dobbs doesn't seem that way, not partisan, just principled. Will try to stay up to watch.
