AAR is having terrible transmission problems today.
Long interruptions, separate messages being played on top of each other, repeating loops. Argh!

1. My reception on the web was fine until about 20 minutes ago...
then it just went dead.   Ironically, the guy talking to Randi at the time was saying something like "well, as bad as the situation in America is today, at least we have Air America as the voice of the loyal op..."; then nothing.

2. Yep - Try Calling Very Rude Receptionist at AAR
to ask her what stations had the TRUE LINE-UP so I could listen online at "said station" website. Most rude and uninformed young lady. As a former radio person, the receptionist should know the answer to this simple queston.

If AAR is a Clear Channel station, the line-up is contains some guy who sounds like Rush Limbaugh during Randi slot.

3. Try some of the links on my site
http://ltradio.blogspot.com

I have links to any radio station that streams at least some of AAR. WXXM in Madison carries most of the AAR schedule (since a competitor snagged Ed Schultz before they changed formats). And it has a great stream - 128Kbps!

And the afternoon guy you mentioned is Ed Schultz. I actually like his show - he's a witty, upbeat guy who's great with callers and is pretty upbeat overall. Then again, it must be the upper midwest personality in me - I guess Ed speaks my language. I like his show better than Randi. Randi's great, but sometimes I like something a bit less abrasive and angry. Ed is what I'd call comfort food radio.
