please participate in this wonderful online poll, and then tell
us how you voted!

Bill Shipp also has an interesting political update that I regularly check out, today he describes Cleland's growing opposition to war in Iraq.

2. Fortunately, he isn't running for re-election
I don't live in Georgia, anyway.

However, I would not vote for him. It would not surprise me if he were to switch parties and vote with the GOP in the continuing resoluton. It wouldn't matter if he or his Republican opponent won. I'd vote Green.

3. I agree...
most of the people voting yes are probably repukes. Most of the people voting no are likely Democrats, and those voting as "not sure" are IMHO..independents wondering what the alternatives would be.

4. No, but Zell's ideological spawn Denise Majette might be running
Still, Ze// would be a hell of a lot better president than Bush. Ze// is a master politician and knows that to consisitantly elected it's usually more sucessful to follow what the mASSES want as long as it doesn't interfere with big business.

12. Majette is a left of the middle Democrat
She is not Zell in any way shape or form. Look at her voting record. She's pro-choice, anti-Death Penalty, pro-Patients Bill of Right. She has more in common with Nancy Pelosi than she does Zell.

9. No !!!!! A thousand times NO!
I want him to snuggle up with Ann Coulter and probably his new oil well, somewhere and go back to the hillbilly county he came from.
I feel betrayed and if ever given the opportunity I WILL tell him what I think. He is such an embarrasement for we democrats sitting here having to watch him suck up to GWB day in and day out !

11. You know this is the only reason he hasn't switched parties!!!
He knows that nobody would listen to bitter ole Zell if he were a Repuke. This is why we must tune him out when his name is mentioned.

Whenever someone now mentions Zell's name to piss me off, or to make a political point I now say Zell...who's that???

Isn't he retired? ;)

6. I'm glad I don't have to make that decision...
I voted for him several times.

Next year he will be campaigning for smirk.

Personal convictions aside, this is an asshole thing to do.

8. In this enviroment and with an iron clad guarentee
that he would vote for the leadership, I would, hold my nose and vote for him. I am very glad that I, nor anyone else, is faced with that decision.

13. I wouldn't be able to vote for Zell
I'd feel the same way about those four Democrats who didn't vote for Pelosi as Speaker. If Zell were nominated, I'd have to vote Green or Write-In.

However, my congressman did vote for Pelosi as Speaker, so I don't have to worry about it.

14. No way.
He's one of the only dems that would make me vote 3rd party. He's farther right than a lot of northeastern republicans.
