PA Senate primary: Hoeffel vs Crystle

Rep Joe is running for the establishment:

Or at least it seems that way. Is this another DLC vs Insurgent campaign shaping up?

1. Hoeffel is hardly DLC

Hoeffel is a very liberal member of congress. He has a 5% lifetime rating from the ACU and a 4% last year because of his vote in favor of war with Iraq. Hoeffel is now often part of almost weekly special order speeches at the end of the day in the House of Representative, often around midnight, that denounce Bush's handling of Iraq. He is certainly an insider now and part of the establishment, but not the moderate one.

2. Well

According to the DLC, it's the vote on the invasion of Iraq, that quantifies whether you are "electable" or not. I bet he voted for all of Gephardts "alternative" tax cuts as well.
