2. Curious: How does Holt lean?

Is he pals with Pascrell? Reason for my question is Holt is the rep who introduced legislation to create an electronic voting paper trail.

Holt, who represents the 12th District in central New Jersey, is also in a holding pattern.

"It's not because I haven't found one I like," Holt said. "It's because there are a number of good candidates, and I think there is plenty of time to let the process work."

I don't know if Pascrell and Holt are close to one another. Pascrell is somewhat more conservative than Holt, particularly on social issues.

I'm hoping Kerry can get the ball rolling with endorsements and all the supporters and followers. Many of our legislators have great ideas and real wisdom. Hope some of that rubs off, as well.
