My dorm's Californians
Just received their absentee ballots TODAY (Oct 7th) so they won't be able to vote in the election. Does this forewarn of bad things? I think so.

I could be wrong...
...but I think that as long as their absentee ballots are postmarked TODAY, they still must be counted. Make sure they are mailed AT THE POST OFFICE today before closing!!!

And the registrar's office specifically said that there is no way they can get over there today, so they're votes won't count, cuz of dumb-ass election workers. One of them is ROTC and will ifhgt and could die for his country, yet they won't let him vote. Go figure

PS Postmarks are not legal. They must be in cali by 8 tonight.

Go to www.lavote.net

Go to "absentee voter" and look for the link that takes you to "special overseas absent voter signature form and oath."

Download that form, fill it out, get your official sample ballot, mark NO on recall/YES on Bustamonte (preferably). FAX the pages on which you voted, plus your oath form, and a cover letter attn: absent voter. FAX it to 562 462 3035.
