Dean's appeal (for the Dem Cabal)
This is really directed at the leadership in the
Dem party and has been discussed before but I am
feeling the need to put some thoughts together.

Dean's appeal comes because we the people chose him
and we're paying his way, manning his meetings,
monitoring his mail. We own him, not the DNC, DLC
or any other D group in DC.

If it hadn't been Dean, it might have been someone else who
stood up early and said Bush was wrong.

I think there's been a real disconnect with the Dem
activist base (Internet crowd) and the Dem Cabal in
this country. You didn't work hard enough for Gore
and you didn't declare that Florida was rigged after
the fact. We really didn't have anyone to turn to
except ourselves.

Fortunately for all of us we need eachother and you
need to acknowledge all the good that's come out of
a Dean run because it's not about Dean specifically,
it's about we the people taking control. You do that and
we can work together on whoever gets the Dem nomination.
The Internet crowd will help the Dems win next year
if you ask.

Meet with us. Let's plan together to remove
the Bushes permanently from elected office.

2. The DLC is to the Dem base as the Bush administration is to the UN. (NM)

5. Exactly. The DLC can't seem to come to grips with the fact
that the Dem party has changed. When the old Republican party was hijacked (and it's thoroughly hijacked now), some who used to vote Republican went independent, largely voting for Democrats.

They'd better come to grips with this or give up altogether.
