A rant on the Democratic party

Some background: A pug legislator rep who was stationed in Cuba was flown back to Missouri using Republican party funds just so he could be the deciding vote to override Gov. Holden's veto of a right to carry concealed weapons. Mind you the VOTERS rejected this very same piece of legislation in 1999. But that is not good enough for the pugs...if democracy doesn't get you what you want then bully your way through...Thus the source of my rant...here goes...

You want to know what ticks me off is this: The fact that the Democrats, who are supposed to be an OPPOSITION party, barely raise a voice to this blatant abuse of power. Bush has gotten by with lying from day one because of a recalcitrant and supine Democratic party. They so much wanted to prove unity and support following a disputed election that they laid on their backs faster than a $100.00 whore in Vegas. Had Clinton done a tenth of what Bush has done the pugs would have been on him quicker than stink on dung and thinking people know that.

Democrats seem to think that if they move further to the right the pugs will stop calling them socialists (I don't see that as an insult but some people do so go figure). The pugs will ALWAYS demonize the Dems. Heck, GENERAL Wesley Clark has entered the race and because he dares to criticize shrub's war in Iraq the pugs and their lapdogs in the media are questioning HIS patriotism! Here we have an AWOL pResident who performs a stunt on a carrier ship at taxpayer expense and his party is questioning the patriotism of a GENERAL?! oh the nerve! And I am not a supporter of Wesley Clark.

What do the Dems do? Instead of attacking Bush they attack one another, providing even more fodder for the right and their minions in the media.
