5. 2 dozen movies via Corp he was on Board - The Hitcher is most famous

During the 2000 debates, Bush claimed that he's "been standing up to Big Hollywood", but as always in just about all statements from Bush -that is a Bush lie - or did he just forget how his company (partial ownership and on the Board of Directors) made more than 2 dozen really lousy movies by funding them in the 80's. Now does this mean the US media, as Bush railed against the "pervasiveness of violence" in Hollywood in the debates, did not remember the two dozen R-rated movies, including one in which a hitchhiker rips a young woman's body in two - The Hitcher?

It would have been fun to watch a debate in the press reporting on Bush's denial of having anything to do with the movie. But the rules for US Media is that once Bush denies - it never happened.


Much like Bush denies insider trading knowledge even though he was on the board of director's audit committee of a failed oil company and sold 30 days before the bad news went public and 90 days after he learned of the bad news - and the media gives him a pass.

As far as the media is concerned, they are in charge of current news. Bush has been screwing the country so hard and for so long it just seems like old news.
