Did anyone catch Carol's interview last night with Tavis Smiley? In discussing the Iraq war, Carol opined that if bush lied to the country, he and others should be impeached. "They must be held accountable."

told us, "its not about the sex, its about the lies." In an ideal world, liberals would have to do nothing to rid the country of bush. Conservatives would take care of their own trash relying on their moral compass and ingrained integrity. Oops! We are living in a real world, where conservatives are hypocrites, liars, corporate criminals, drug abusers, gamblers, sodomites, divorcees - but they do provide an excellent support network for their own.

6. I have a comment about strategy...

... it seems to me that the momentum needed to impeach a President takes time to gather. It took the GOP crazies millions of dollars and years of efforts to do it (on fake charges, but never mind that). To impeach Bush, we'd have to perform a lot of cat-herding in the next few months.

The best shot we have at ridding America of Bush and his corporatist Administration is at the polls in November. Impeachment as a means, IMHO, would have to come in Bush's assumed 2nd term, just like Clinton. So, I think maybe the talk should continue until November, but action implemented until only after Bush wins a 2nd term, God forbid.
