Andrew Rice is on the board of Sept. 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows http://www.peacefultomorrows.org, and he contributed to their book of the same name. He will talk about the work he has done with Peaceful Tomorrows over the past two years, including his recent trip to South Africa as the 9/11 representative to an international conference on forgiveness and reconciliation.

Saturday, May 15th, Shawnee, 3pm-9pm
RED RIVER DEMOCRACY PROJECT "Shawnee Democracy Festival"
Woodland Park in Shawnee
(take I-40 to the Kickapoo exit, and go south 4 miles to Highland Avenue, turn left and the park is 1/2 mile down on your right.)
EVENT HIGHLIGHT: 7pm Screening of the documentary UNCOVERED: The Whole Truth About the Iraq War
followed by a discussion with MEL GOODMAN, 10 year veteran of the CIA and author of Bush League Diplomacy

Mel Goodman is a professor of International Security Studies and Chairman of the International Relations Department at the National War College, and was a senior analyst at the CIA from 1976 to 1986, and prior to that worked in the State Department. He will be talking about his new book Bush League Diplomacy: How the Neoconservatives are Putting the World at Risk: click here for info. about his book
