either thank them, or scold them, depending on
what side of the issue they voted on.

3. It wasn't just the Democrats

Rep.Otter(R) suggested it, Rep.Sanders(I) backed it, some of the our people had some reservations because of procedure, then Rep.Paul(R) convinced our people to back it and that it was as good a time as any.

Hearings for the Patriot Act have been blocked to some extent and the new way around this is to add amendments to other bills in order to reverse the damage.
