Who will be documenting the noRNCinNYC protests?
I'm interesting in hearing from DUers who are going to protest the RNC in NYC and who are planning on keeping a diary either on paper, or with a digital still or movie camera or sound recorder. We can't leave it to the corporate media.

The photographic and sound notebook I kept during Portland's anti-Iraq war protests is here:

I kept it from August 2002 (starting at Portland's landmark anti-Bush rally) until July of 2003. Then I bartered the inexpensive point and shoot digital camera away and got an inexpensive mini-DV cam and made films with the Portland Indymedia Video Collective. The most ambitious film I made during that time is now available online and described in detail here in a thread I just posted to this forum:

There will lots of indymedia folks at the convention protest and I will be working with some of them, but not officially. I'm more interested in developing a more independent perspective.

I am planning on making a little film with a digital still camera and a sound recorder -- not slide show, but a film that will work superbly on the net. For example one made with a tool like this:

What are your plans?

Brian
