The Protest In Dallas
The protest went really well, it was a "wee bit hot", but shade was available. However, I had a marvelous time at my first protest.

I wanted to share with the group one very unfortunate incident. While we were holding our signs, a car with several women in it, drove up, rolled down the car window and read one of our signs that stated the current death toll in Iraq stands at 267. One of the women read our sign and then commented, "Is that all? That's not bad".

Is that all????? 267 lives lost, and she says, Is that all? Very sad thing to hear. What you want to bet SHE doesnt have any loved ones in Iraq. She's gotta be a repug.

1. Kind of reminds me of the scene with the golf club women in Rogr and Me
Must have been on their way to lunch at Niemans. Hopes they buy the cookie recipe.

I bet she would think differently if one was her husband or son.

So much for the compassionate conservative..

4. Well..
For that 267, you've got to think about 534 parents who each lost a child, maybe about a hundred or more children who lost a parent, and let's not forget scores of grandparents, other family members, and friends involved.

How many more lives have to be lost before the sleepwalking masses wake up?

I saw you at the Dean rally too. You were in the middle of talking with someone, so I didn't interrupt.
