Host a MoveOn house party for "Uncovered: The Whole Truth about Iraq War"
Attend or Host a House Party
Right now, there are 1,735 parties planned.

On the evening of December 7th, 2003, thousands of people around the country will gather to watch and discuss the new documentary Uncovered: The Whole Truth about the Iraq War. Together, we'll strengthen the MoveOn community, get the truth out, and raise some money to make sure that people in key battleground states know the real story about how we went to war.

Interested in hosting a party? Click below, and we'll provide you with tools to manage your party and a guide to putting it together. You can just invite your friends and colleagues, or you can allow MoveOn members in your area to attend -- our software makes it easy to do either.

I can't host one myself but I was able to find one near me.

1. Is anybody going to do this?
It sounds like a really cool idea and MoveOn is such a worthwhile organization.

4. I'm going and bringing friends!
I checked the site and found many parties being hosted in the Twin Cities area. I have invited (cornered) two coffee house friends who I hope will become more active with a little motivation.

5. I'm going!
Found one pretty close this Sunday. Only 4 signed up for that location, so I don't know what to expect. A larger meeting is being hosted by the Democratic Party. I'm excited about meeting someone who actually had the gumption to host this. And, this one is going to be like a little party, a luau in December. Sounds like serious fun for a serious topic.

6. Well, if only four signed up
bring a friend! Wish I could go, but I have to work. Let us know how it turns out. A luau sounds fun.

7. Oklahoma
we have signed up to host a party here in Oklahoma. We are finding that if one person signs up, they are planning on bringing their mother, brother, their brother's brother...you get the idea. Also ask if there will be kids allowed/present if the party is in a home.

8. Does the 1,735 number include the bogus parties hosted by KKKreepers?
Some KKKreepers also are planning on attending legitimate parties in their areas, http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1034739/posts although this seems unlikely considering the typical KKKreeper cowardice and false bravado. But then again, considering their lack of decency and honor perhaps they will attend. Some of the fouler filth being contemplated by this foul filth is here. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1032596/posts

11. I just returned
from the Peace and Justice Center in Alubquerque, NM
It was 54 min. long and very good. There were over 150, the center was full.
Also, it was shown at the various church centers on UNM campus, Newman, Canterbury, etc. They also had lots of people.
