Any Insomniacs?
I'm not a regular in the lounge, but having been awake since like 3 AM I just gave up and figure I'm up for the day... Anyone around?

1. Right here. Not an insomniac by choice.
I work nights. So my body is pretty much all screwy. When I do sleep I usual get about four hours.

2. I made the mistake of taking a nap after work
I guess I was destined to wake up at 3 or so... Amazing how boring the tv/internet is this time of day!

3. Not an insomniac, really, just a fool.
I'm telecommuting with a large dose of shirkage going on, and I made the mistake of telling my project supervisor that I had yea many pages of copy for them, when all I really had was some stuff pulled verbatim from the previous doc, some s-of-c notes, and some meta-tagging for structure purposes. I'd kind of been slacking off because I'm still not entirely sure what the suits want...

...what they want this morning, according to the e-mail I got last night, is ~12pp of clean copy, and a lien on the rest...

So I'm doing what Douglas Coupland calls "flying to Australia" and rewriting myself frantically. :)

I think I should be able to send it in 45 minutes or so (having done all I'm bloody well going to do for now), unplug the phones, and fall into bed and die.

4. I was sleeping blissfully, peacefully....
then for some reason, my darling little kitty Ryno woke me up. Now I can't get back to sleep. And of course, she's purring and snoring away.

Here's the guilty critter:
