Best Star Trek series bad guy
From the different series, who's the best and worst Star Trek bad guy?

Best: A tie! Borg Queen from the final "Voyager" episode and DS9's Gul Dukat.

Worst: Voyager's Kazon. Bunch of dweebs with bad hair.

3. The Borg Queen was the shark that Fonzie jumped over.

Hugh was the ramp.

Never has a franchise so thoroughly ruined an originally good bad guy then Star Trek did to the Borg.

All the more reason why, when I'm elected president, if Rick Berman is still alive his head will be the first meal served in my White House.

17. Q may not be villianous, but he surely was an antagonist
And that's what I feel the point of the post was. Anytime Q was around, I'd actually watch Star Trek, and I am by no means a sci-fi viewer.

So I'm with you Q people.

7. Mudd was funny.
Even a little lovable.

But he was totally incompetent.

I mean, the bad guys that make you go "Booooo..." at the screen when you see them, scenery-chewing nasties!

He didn't get to be excellent until the movie.

I mean, in the series, Kirk beat him up!

12. He still got his start in the series...
and nearly killed Kirk. (Then again, a good villan would always nearly kill the hero, right?)

Every other villan pales in comparison.
Except, maybe, for the Romulan in TOS "Balance of Terror" played by Mark Lenard

14. And in the series, Khan sets the engines to overload and stands there
laughing at Kirk. :eyes: It's a great episode and says a lot of good things, but Khan's action toward the end was really DUMB. Kirk winning the battle was not utterly believeable either, and not because of the obvious use of stunt doubles...

Remember the episode that split me into good and evil halves? That was great. I always say you can never have enough Kirk on the screen, so two of me at once was a real high point.

20. My picks
Old Trek:
Best--Klingons (any of 'em)
Worst--'evil' Kirk (makes me cringe)

TNG:
Best--Romulans
Worst--Ferengi

DSN:
Best--Cardassians, ferengi (tie)
Worst--Founders

VOY:

Best--that species that could kick Borg ass. (don't remember it's designation)
Worst--Kazon!

Sorry I don't watch Enterprise...to me that whole series Sucks.

21. I loved the first Gul Dukat
I mean I LOVED him. He was so good at being bad!!! He made me want to do dirty, evil things with him. He had that sexy magnetism that many charming, evil people have.

Once the actor changed, the magic was gone and I lost interest in the whole series.

You're mixing him up with Garak.

(Played by Andrew Robinson.)

The Cardassian tailor who used to be a spy.

I saw him as more of a rascal than a villain.

38. Data went to a planet
to convince colonists to bail out before the Sheliak came; he eventually used a hand phaser to destroy an irrigation system. Meanwhile, Picard found a loophole and asked for arbitration with the hibernating Grizellas to keep the Sheliak from wiping out the "human infestation" or something like that.

The Sheliak looked like an inflated version of a silver-sequinned glove.

Clearly it was any of the 'evil' twins from "Mirror, Mirror" ....except Spock of course. He couldn't be evil in either universe- only logical.

Worst bad guys? The Gorn. I mean, c'mon...it's a guy in an obvious rubber suit. Haw many ways can you say CHEESY!
