Just received in an email from my SO:
On the news this morning, April 7th. NWCN.com and they'll prolly have
the report.
A Northwest backpack manufacturer (Tom Bihn -Backpacks) printed the
usual washing instruction tag on all of their backpacks. If you flip up
the tag, you know how they always have the instructions printed in a
different language? Theirs is printed in French and it reads:
"...we are sorry our president is an idiot, we did not vote for him..."
In French no less!
Backpacks are being recalled and new tags printed.
Geez wouldn't it be nice to own one of those!!
-me
Ha HA! I absolutely love it! And I WANT one!

edit:
I found a link, but the site requires registration.

SEATTLE – How often do you read the washing instructions inside your bag or backpack? A local bag manufacturer has learned to read them more often after finding an apparent anti-President-Bush message in fine print.
The cat's out of the bag at Tom Bihn Portable Culture, a Seattle retailer.
The owners said the company found out Monday.
KING
Inside the bags is a dirty, little secret printed on the washing instructions.
Inside their laptop bags and backpacks was a dirty, little secret printed on the washing instructions.
How fitting that it's in French.
"Nous somme desoles que notre president soit un idiot. Nou n'avons pas vote pour lui."
Which means: "We are sorry our president is an idiot. We did not vote for him."
"I just burst out laughing," said Tom Bihn, company president.
Bihn claims he had no idea what was written on the tags they have been sewing onto their bags for six months.
"I guess if my French was a little bit better, Ii would have caught it earlier," he said.
But is it really an employee up to an old bag of tricks?
