4. other bad ideas
maybe oprah could write her own sequel to beloved. Good book - worst movie ever. When oprah literally lifted her skirt up to piss on the camera I lost it.

or a sequel to spice world

Police Academy the musical

the Passion sequel starring the cast of sesame street

10. what? you must be joking
I saw it opening night with half of the English faculty (my wife is an English professor) they had all been excited about it for weeks and all came out bitterly disappointed. The movie is the book in real time. Where the book can describe a series of emotions or thoughts the film takes the 3 minutes that it would have taken to read that and shows a close up of Oprah looking pensive or of Oprah's ass or of Oprah taking a huge steaming piss all over you. A pure Oprah ego fest. It jumps to the top of my list as worst movie ever because the book was so good it took real talent to bugger it up so badly.

12. Oh, C'mon.
Oprah's piss take wasn't any worse then Ian Mackellan's in Richard III, or Martin Landou's in X-files.

Have you never seen a film made from a book before?

13. I have seen films made from books
but never one done quite so badly. This monstrosity of a film was well into my top 3 worst of all time long before oprah put the yellow icing on the shitcake.

14. Oh grow up.
I think you've got a problem with women. Some kind of childhood trauma if I'm not mistaken. Does Oprah scare you?

15. oh im sorry - I thought this was a civil discussion for grown ups

I see I am mistaken. I just thought it was a terrible movie and gave some reasons why (length, poor acting, bad script adaptation, ego getting in the way of the production)

why the baiting?

how about my other movie picks - the muppet passion. perhaps I was molested as a child by big bird and have repressed the memory? this is supposed to be a light and funny thread, but you jump in with a profanity laden tirade because you like a movie I didnt? wow. weird indeed.

3. What DC 9/11 two?!?
In this one George W Bush challenges a Arab man, whom he thinks is Osama Bin Laden to a duel. This duel is a snakehandling duel with Jerry Falwell officiating to make sure they are actual poisonius snakes in the sack. El Cokehead Loco triumphs after surviving 15 snake bites and screams, "take that sand n****r."

6. I could write a good "Dungeons and Dragons" Movie.
It would be set in a liberal arts college in the early eighties.
