65 million years later Steven Spielberg will make a blockbuster movie out of the ability to extract DNA out of the original thread that never dies thus creating a new thread that never dies. Unfortunately he pairs the DNA of that thread to the DNA of a T-Rex and the T-Rex then eats everyone.
