1. There are adherents to that theory
It's called graphology. There is little scientic evidence that it works. But then the lie detector (polygraph) doesn't either.

2. I had my handwriting analyzed once.
Most of what was said was spot-on. Then again, it could've been the same thing as a "cold reading" that pseudo-psychics do.

Who knows? I know people with terrible handwriting who are the most focused, organized people in the world. Vice versa, as well.

4. Certain things are pretty obvious
People with flamboyant handwriting tends to have major egos. People with many unconventional letter forms tends to be artistic and creative. People who knot their o's and a's into tight little circles tend to be anal-retentive. And so forth.

The one handwriting I never saw an explanation for, though, was my mother's. It it was extremely neat, extremely regular -- and almost totally unreadable.
