Football, basketball, soccer, etc? You could make an argument about baseball but I hardly feel the sport of baseball is ruined.

If he would not have elevated the salary's into the twilight zone, the other sports would not have had their guys saying "Hey! I should make as much as him".
And yes I am aware that the players deserved a bigger slice of the pie, but to take a family of 4 to any professional game is beyond ridicules. Money wise, I mean.
And I lay the blame squarely on "I got the best my New York money can buy" george

their arguements are weak- steinbrenner certainly isn't to blame for baseball's woes- his only job is to win. GO YANKS! wish i could be there.
