Why don't people walk upside-down on the bottom of the Earth?
The answer will BLOW YOUR MIND!
______________________________________________

Remember that the Earth is a sphere, like a giant ball: so there is no "up" or "down", since a sphere is symmetric. That is, it looks the same no matter what way you look at it. So, people in Australia have just as much right to call themselves "up" as people in the Northern Hemisphere do!

2. No..No...No. I went to Australia last October and I'm a citizen of both..
..America and Australia.

When in Australia, (down under) I have to wear powerful magnet shoes.
Since Australian Soil is almost all metal, the shoes work perfectly.

Animals like Kiwis and Kangaroos have built-in magnet feet. (they evolved that way)
...and the birds don't give a shit.

11. just between you and I....They don't know that any other place else exists. When Airplanes land..
...in Australia, the passengers are told to say: We come from New Zealand.
Any person who breaks that rule is immediately taken to the nearest Insane Asylum ....and forced to eat 17 Vegemite sandwiches.
...or forced to become Computer Techs. (that ones for Canetoad) :)

4. Do the birds use sling-shots?
I see a new game in the works - Birds that give a Shit

Ok - it's a working title, we can make a better one later.

I think this one should have the birds flying with their sling-shots and using them to shoot their shit at people and things.

(Sorry for the totally off the wall reply, but I wanted to document my thought before I forgot it. )

9. Well...actuallly thats exactly what they do now. I'm rather surprised that you ...
....came to that conclusion. (Strange enough the parrots are the ones that first acquired slingshots and the rest is history.)

Early settlers in Australia noticed that the parrots and birds (when bored) would say something like:
"Hey..Polly..Do you want to Shoot the Shit for awhile??"

12. I take it some of the conversations the first settlers heard were like this:
Polly 1: Pass me a Fosters Mate.
Polly 2: You want to shoot some shit?
Polly 1: That sounds great. What do you want to shoot at today?
Polly 2: We can start by pissing off the Devils. Then later we can try some sharp shooting on those new human things.
Polly 1: What do you want to shoot at on them?
Polly 2: They have some weird thing between their legs. I saw one get hit there and it fell to the ground and started to sing in a high pitch.
Polly 1: Awesome, that sounds like fun.

Little known historical fact.

7. There's a clamation short called "Adam" you would like. It's an Aardman work ("Wallace & Grommit")
Edited on Thu Nov-17-11 07:30 AM by HopeHoops
On Edit: The DVD it is on is called "Creature Comforts" and it has other works of Aardman as well. The zoo animals one is my favorite. I just had the damn DVD in my hands two or three days ago and can't locate it right now. Clutter. (sigh)

Actually there is only one real direction: towards a gravity source.

15. I was in South Africa recently.
It took some getting used to, but everyone walked upside down. After the long zombie flight home, I forgot, walking out of Dulles upside-down.
