vet told me today to start watching budstars diet

he hit 177..vet says too much too fast....any veggie rich dog foods you recommend that dogs actually like?

The budster wont eat science diet or Aims.

The vet says it is time to wean the fatass from puppy chow...and yes he is a fatass.He sits on his ass all day watching Oprah reruns and snarfing puppy chow

Seriously..he goes through a 40 lb bag of chow a week now...need a good idea on what to wean him to.

Just add that too his routine and you may not have to change his diet.

9. he gets his exercise..he runs his ass off

he just eats..and eats..and ..well..eats.

I hate to cut his food..he so enjoys it...I just want to try to get him a healthier diet that he will actually eat.

He gets TONS of exercise..has the run of our land and all the neighbors too...we have more than enough land for them.He plays all day with the neighbors rotwieller mix.

He's just getting FAT! :)

10. on a happy note

when I got him the rescue asked me to put a few pounds on him before they took pics because he was skinny when I got him...took care of that :blush: They have a pic board of all the rescues that get adopted.

They love him at the rescue..he's one you can play with as hard as you want and not hurt :) I always take the budster with me when I do my rescue work.

He struts when he is there...he thinks he is the king of the dogs...and he is probably right :)
