2. ROTFL!! I hate to admit this but in my profession that first one makes sense.

But we can get really weird. And can sometimes make the most tittilating ideas crushingly boring.

And there really is a Journal of Polymorphous Perversity. The term is based on Freud's idea that we come into the world without any preconceived notions of what is or isn't "perverse" and get shaped by our environment (and some biology) to think about things that way. I can imagine the idea behind the book is that maybe one reason some people become vegetarians is to sublimate the desire to bite hell out of everything they see. But I'm just guessing.

Of course we could have written that last one too...anal stage, doncha know.
