1. Why would you compare a four door with a two door Charger?
Particularly when the "new" four door model has been out for five years now. And the old ones are heavily modified from stock form. You are correct: Apple does not equal Orange, although both are Fruit...

I saw a sweet new Hemi Challenger on the commute home yesterday, btw.

2. Yeah, but those are TV cars
None of 'em equal a "real" race Hemi (any of the 3 generations) like this 240 MPH missle

3. I raced during the era of S/S hemi Chargers, Darts and Barracudas
When 10 sec. steel bodied cars were the best out there. One of the guys in my shop has a street Vette no blower goes 11.7 on street tires, and we used to do that with our balls out SS/EA Chevelle.

Four doors does not a charger make.

5. No, but the Dodge Challenger looks damn close to the original
I had a black 1973 Dodge Challenger. The new ones are bigger but they look almost identical. Wish I could afford one.
