1. I got a great eye-cream from Nivea.
It comes in a small bottle with a roller. You just roll it on before bed and it reduces swelling.

2. If you are a smoker, cigs contribute to the dark circles. Cigs rob you
of enough oxygen...I've had that lecture numerous times, quit the cigs and the circles did go.

7. How I wish

Hey, I gave up smoking over a year ago (and the crowd cheers with approval) and I still get bags under my eyes..................All right already, so in my case it wasn't the smoking so much as old age. Drats. Anyone got a solution for that. Be nice now!!! :):)

4. This will sound strange, but Preparation H-
the stuff which is used on Hemhorrhoids - also is good at shrinking up the tissue around the eyes. Lots of people use it for facial purposes!

5. Yeah. I heard that too.
Prep H. Only (the way I understand it) for some reason...the Canadian "version" of it is much more effective than what we can buy in the US ~ (has something to do with the % of active ingredients, the way I understand it).

Aside from that - Some really long, deep, truly restful sleep for a couple of days (throwing all caution and stress to the wind momentarily...) or more along with some great sexual release (with or without a partner) will whip those corpuscles back into shape toot sweet! :-)

11. Don't do it!! They changed the formula of Prep H a long time ago.
Once upon a time it worked but it doesn't now.

9. I tried the cream version but I don't think it helped.
I believe if comes in other formulas. Maybe I need to experiment. Thanks!

10. ... or too little.
If I haven't had enough sleep, I get those dark circles. Otherwise, you don't see them.

12. raw cucumber or potato slices
placed on my eyelids for 20 seconds or so, on and off for a while, make my eyes feel better when they're sore from crying or eyestrain or tiredness. I don't know if they make eye bags and circles go away, but I find cukes and taters to be very soothing on the eyeballs.

13. Green tea bags
Get some teabags of green tea and make two cups of tea with them--you need two bags, so two cups of tea. Lie down, close your eyes and put one teabag over each eye. Leave there for 30 minutes. (Use along with a yogurt-oatmeal face mask: one tablespoon honey-flavor Greek yogurt, one tablespoon finely ground oatmeal, stir together and spread over your face--for best effect.) After it's on, wait 30 minutes, wash off with cool water and moisturize. Repeat once per week.

The quick way to deal with the circles is to cover 'em up with a good yellow concealer--the yellow neutralizes the dark circles better than beige-color concealer does--under foundation.
