as part of my job

because i work with waitresses or independant contractors as we call them in the kitchen
there are days when as part of my job
to keep everyone on their best game and to keep clear communications or just to show who has the biggest ass
i am ordered/allowed to make every person on staff hate me
i am designated bad guy i am the stone NO
i am bad cop
i am really good at it
i do not get any extra money for this but i do get the personal satisfaction of knowing i am freed to give my undivided attention and honest opinion as to MY satisfaction with any other employee and the prearranged response will always be " well thats just the way he is,you see his food,we will talk to him but you need to make sure you stop doing______________ because he is right thats totally against policy"
i knowits wrong but i swear it feels so great sometimes to just go in and cash reality checks.
and yes i have indeed had my check cashed too.
