I just started watching the first episode.
Strong undertones of Arrested Development meets Spin City.

If you have seen it , what do ya think?
I am guffawing so far.

2. Any other shows of that caliber you can recommend?
No tv, so I am not current on anything good out there.

3. Well, I like '30 Rock' also. 'Modern Family' too is extremely funny.
Those three are my only current 'must see' programs.

'The Office' has fallen off of my list for a couple of seasons now - I think it's played out. But the first 5-6 seasons are mostly hilarious.

7. That may be the funniest line in a sitcom since 'I thought turkeys could fly"

4. I love this show.
Genuine lol moments. Really hit its stride this year (on a level with 30 Rock imo).

Ron effin' Swanson is a God!

5.  Modern Family, Parks and Rec, and the Office are my main shows now
All three are hysterical.

What's funny is that for years I've pretty much JUST watched drama shows. Never got into Seinfeld or Friends. But now that the West Wing and LOST are done and most dramas are just trying (and failing) to copy LOST, I've gravitated to Modern Family and the new sitcoms.

I started watching Parks and Rec this past season mainly because I was watching the Office and just found myself staying to watch Parks and Rec.

10. There has been talk for years of an Arrested Development movie,
starring the original cast. But I haven't heard anything about the series returning.

11. I am reasonably sure
that Jason Bateman confirmed on a talk show just the other night that an AD movie was in the works - I have no idea how "in the works"i it is...written yet? Filming already? I dunno. But I'll wait until my last breath for it. And if I don't make it my will will stipulate I be dug up and a copy of the blu-ray (or whatever the hip, new medium is by then) be stuffed in my rotting arms.

but yeah, to the original post, P&R is great and I also love the Office and Modern Family and 30 Rock.

And most of the Sunday night Adult Swim line-up.
