Much has been made of the recent Newsweek cover featuring Michele Bachmann. Some consider it sexist; others have seen it simply as another opportunity to mock the Minnesota representative (see: every commenter on here, basically). We noticed today that our friends at BuzzFeed had created a follow-up to the Chicks With Steve Buscemeyes site by doing a list of Hot Chicks With Michele Bacheyes, and we wondered: What if we combined the two? What if we put Michele Bachmann's eyes on Steve Buscemi's face? So we did. And then we put Steve Buscemi's eyes on Michele Bachmann's face.

I really don;t want to know the answer to this one, but how the FUCK is that cover "sexist?"

Compared to MANY of the other photos of this train wreck of a human being, it borders on "flattering."

The problem with our society today is an itchy trigger finger. We like to play the racist card, and the sexist card.

Some times it's legitimate.

If they'd offered a similarly posed and cropped photo of Beck, would anyone be playing the "sexist" card?

They probably figure that by calling it sexist, they can turn the liberals against Newsweek for publishing a Sexist Cover.

What they don't realize is we know who Michele Bachmann actually is, and what we're pissed off about Newsweek is that they put Bachmann, and not someone who's actually worthy of the cover of a national magazine, on their cover.
