Can you try some up-dos, a few other things first, just to mix it up?

2. I don't want it short unless I loose a lot of weight. I like it long right now. Long bangs would not

bother me as they would be long enough to put behind my ears.... the rest of my hair would be very, very long.

7. Oh, heck yeah

You can cut your bangs, it's not that difficult and you oughtta know what looks best on you. I have long - well, mid-back - hair too, and semi-long bangs, I just like them to form a sort of contrast around my face. Plus, if you have an up-do, you can either spray them in place, or let them loose for another effect (that's what I do).

I've also trimmed my hair many times. LongHairCommunity forum has a video on it, I forget the name, "Self-Trim something or other", it's some kind of method so you don't get it all uneven in back. When I had about 7 inches lopped off earlier this year, I went to a stylist, but for small trims, it works and saves some bucks.
