Jeri Ryan on tonight's Warehouse 13, who ironically helped Obama become president...
Edited on Tue Aug-02-11 01:30 AM by cascadiance

in her personal life, when she and her husband had well publicized marital problems which forced her husband who was the former Republican senator candidate to pull out of the Senate race in 2004 that Obama eventually won against Alan Keyes instead. Obama of course went on from that Senate seat to win the presidency.

She used to play Seven of Nine on Star Trek not long before that time. It was rather ironic that on tonight's show she played a mysterious former ex-wife of Pete (one of the main characters on this show) who was having problems with an artifact getting married again to someone else.

Just had me thinking and wondering if she hadn't had those marital difficulties, wondering who we'd have for president now, and what kind of situation would we have with this debt ceiling and all of these budget cuts now too. I wonder if she's thought about it too. Kind of ironic that she's on this show the night that Obama arguably from some people's perspectives has sold us out.

1. Wasn't Obama already ahead in the polls?
when Ryan withdrew?

2. I fell asleep right after her in laws came in and her friends
stuffed gags in their mouths and took off with them. How did it end? Did the bee sting kill her, did they find the bee, did she end up married?

4. SPOILER....

Bee sting didn't kill her. They got the stinger out by getting the bee near her again and the stinger went back in to the "bee", and everything went back to normal. She got married too, so probably won't be a recurring person on the show, though it was interesting to read in another news article that Kate Mulgrew, who was also on that Star Trek show, and also who I believe has had ties to politics and perhaps her husband ran for office at some point, is going to have a recurring role start at the end of the season on Warehouse 13. I wonder if the show producers have some political ties here and there.

Mulgrew speaking out against Bush...
