I'm at work, getting ready to do my Sunday afternoon radio show. I just had a soldier on the Kuwait/Iraq border call me to request a song for his wife. Of course, I'm going to do it. He said that he won't be home until next January.
I grew up with my father in the military. I have no desire to separate families, especially of young National Guardsmen and Reservists. Those full-time people who signed up should have expected this, but before * the National Guard was NEVER this dangerous. Bring em Home NOW.
we know that there is more to supporting the troops than just cheering when they come home. Making sure we send them only when necessary is our biggest promise to the military.
