Okay, music lovers...
I've finally created my first-ever cloudcast for Mixcloud titled The Small Hours. It's a bit dark, true, but check it out - I hope you get as much out of listening to this cloudcast as I did in creating it.

1. I did about 30 minutes (I had to go get food in a major way lol).
Pretty cool stuff! I bookmarked it to go back to later on. I hate wearing headphones during the day, and with two fans blasting it's hard to hear much of anything. This kind of stuff is perfect nighttime headphone material. :)

4. One of my good friends is in the mix, too
Laura Ainsworth has been performing various nightclub shows including My Ship Has Sailed and tributes to Cole Porter, but this is the first time she's released a CD on the market. When I heard her version of Love For Sale, it just switched a light on in my head, and I just had to include it in the mix.

Glad you like it so far! :hi:

5. I did get around to the whole thing and like it a lot.
I sent it along to one of my friends who appreciates any kind of musical oddness (I mean that in a good way lol). I'm betting he'll dig it. :)

6. Hey, odd is cool in my book
There's so much "more of the same" floating out there that I truly appreciate any music that challenges us.

Have you seen the documentary Before the Music Dies? If not, I highly recommend it.
