Game of Thrones: Stannis, Melisandre & Davos are cast

The guy who played Thomas Jefferson in the John Adams miniseries gets the role of Stannis Baratheon:

I like the look of Carice Van Houten, who is playing the key role of the sorceress Melisandre. Oddly, just the other day, I rented "Black Death" because it had Sean Bean in it, and Van Houten played a sorceress in that movie as well.

and, it looks like they've continued with Season 2... the casting director is up for an Emmy, I believe.
