My dog is having a great time with a firefly that got in the house.
I couldn't figure out what all the commotion was about. He was jumping all over the place. Had it in his mouth, let it go. It was crawling on the floor and took off, he kept chasing it. Batting at it, trying to smash it, but not really because then it wouldn't be fun.

It must be great to find so much entertainment in something so simple.

3. So, one night a bat gets into our house, and our three cats notice it immediately...
There was much commotion and carnage throughout the house until I grabbed the bat in a towel and ushered him outdoors.

5. He was shaken, but not stirred. He stayed up near the ceiling and the cats just jumped at him.
The longest delay was in getting my heavy welding gloves from the basement, as Batty was on the third floor (I think he got in from the attic). He flew off when I released him - I guess he had a good story to tell the other bats!
