MFM, back to UMC. Barely 24 hours at the rehab place. Fluid.

What on earth is going on??? I hope in a year this is just a crazy "remember when MFM went back and forth to rehab four times" story. Is it four? I swear I've lost count.

6. Yes, it was MFM's third try at rehab. I wonder, too, what is going on!

It sounds like something's blocked; this is the second time he had fluid buildup after going to rehab. The third time was a blood clot.

My mom had a mastectomy due to breast cancer eleven years ago, & she was told not to lift anything over 5 lbs. with her right arm. To me, it seems like MFM's heart surgery post-treatment would require the same restrictions.

darn I wish he would stabilize. His chart must look like a a dribbling basketball.
Maybe he is planning on staying til it gets cool outside?
At least he is in a place where little problems don't get out of hand.

Three solid days in hospital before next exit to rehab would be very good.

7. I talked to him today...

And we discussed the "too early" issue. He told me that he asked the folks at the hospital to make sure they were certain he was ready to be transferred, and Oh yes, they were.

He cannot rest, and the anxiety of all this is getting to him.

He can't post much, but he can read his laptop, and the support he's getting here means The World.

MFM-I hope they keep you at UMC long enough this time to know you you're not going to be bounced back. And I think you should get the next doc that walks into your room to prescribe you a good multivitamin because you need a boost, and hospital food for that long ain't doing it.
