Golden 300 hybrid layer ducks I got about 3 weeks ago. They're a lot bigger now, of course. This photo was taken when they had just had their first bath, in an inch of warm water.

24. You can relax.
They're egg layers, all female. I got them specifically to supply the extended fam with duck eggs for baking. I've got 8 Rouen ducks now (along with 18 turkeys, 30 some chickens, 3 geese, doves, and more quail than I can count.

So, they'll have long lives, not destined for the oven if that's what you're wondering.
