| I'm looking for the name of a triangle... here's a description |
This triangle has 2 equal sides and 1 side that is about 1 1/2 times the length of one of the equal sides. The 2 equal sides curve out slightly (like part of a Reuleaux triangle) while the longer side is perfectly straight. Any ideas? thanks.

shapes which fit your description wouldn't be.

| 7. Thanks dimbear. I realize I shouldn't have included the first spherical diagram. |
I posted in a hurry. The triangle name I'm looking for is not spherical. The second diagram better represents it and the triangle there is formed from flat circles and a flat rectangle on a flat surface. Sorry for the stupid confusion.

| 8. I think I would name a triangle like that Edward. |
But in casual situations I'd call him Ed.
