1. They just want light, it is something new.
Best Dalek episode ever, is when after touched by Rose the Dalek changed, and the Dr would not hurt the Dalek, although the ending was wrong.

The ending implies an inability to heal, that is an error in many things, and contrary to the scene about the Doctor, Rose, and the Dalek.

I am due beer and travel money and many experiences.

4. I'm wondering when the current doctor and that obnoxious Amy Pond will be gotten rid of.
Doctor Who has been seriously suffering from suckitude since the last regeneration.

Not even the possibility of figuring out who the hell River Song is can make me watch more than a few minutes of it.

12. This could all be solved if they just let Neil Gaiman write all the episodes
I'm no fan of 11, but The Doctor's Wife was fantastic. I think the writing for this doctor is really the biggest problem, Steven Moffet just isn't so good. I miss Davis... Luckily new Torchwood begins next month!

13. I'll check out that episode.
I agree that the major problem is the writing. Rory is the only character I can stand.

It took me a couple of episodes to warm up to David Tennant, so I did give Matt Smith more than a fair chance before giving up on this Doctor.

5. There won't be any Daleks for awhile
Edited on Sun Jun-12-11 08:30 AM by Zephie
Doctor Who writer Steven Moffat to 'rest' Daleks

The Daleks are to be given "a rest" from Doctor Who, writer Steven Moffat has told the Radio Times.

Moffat, who is also the BBC television show's executive producer, said: "They aren't going to make an appearance for a while. We thought it was about time to give them a rest."

<snip>

Created by Terry Nation, the Daleks are the Doctor's hugely popular enemies who have made regular appearances in the long-running science fiction show since first appearing in 1963.

Moffat said: "There's a problem with the Daleks. They are the most famous of the Doctor's adversaries and the most frequent, which means they are the most reliably defeatable enemies in the universe."

I disagree with this decision vehemently.

6. Ah, the Washington Generals of scifi TV.....
I've always hated the Daleks, maybe from having to watch the old Dr. Who series. I found them annoying and cheesy.

7. I loved the old Tom Baker episodes from when I was in high school
what they could do with cardboard and tin foil! I miss the cheezy special effects when I watch the new series.

14. They are still fairly cheezy.
I adore the Dalek's Kitchenaid and toilet plunger extremities.

15. We called them the 'Potato Peeler and Toilet Plunger' accessories.
Seemed an odd combination, especially if used at the same time.

The Daleks were a late-night infomercial all-purpose household handy gadget device gone horribly wrong.
