Casting call set for extras in 'Dark Knight Rises'!

Casting will be done 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. June 18; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. June 19, at the Omni William Penn Hotel, Downtown. Use the Oliver Street entrance, and go to the William Penn Ballroom on the ground floor/downstairs.

The production seeks men and women, ages 18 and older, all ethnicities. Parts include "prisoners/thugs, guards, police officers, business men and women, and sports fans."

Those interested should bring a pen to write with, a photo ID (driver's license, state ID or student ID), and be prepared to be photographed. Avoid wearing logos and bright colors, and come "dressed somewhat" like the part you're seeking, if possible.

Pay for extras is $58 for eight hours, with overtime after eight hours. Normal film days last 12 hours. No one is guaranteed to be in the movie.
