So who here has been sick lately?
No advice needed, but this is extremely annoying. Fever, sore throat, headache, chills, pain all over....I've been told it's a virus, but want to know if this is something that is going around in general.

1. Weather Channel has lists of such things according to zip code. Check to see if your area's is there

2. Me! Meme! Mememe!!
I had a cold, which was just a pain in the ass, but yesterday I felt like HELL...exhausted, nearly falling asleep when sitting with therapy patients, kind of clammy, like a bag had been dropped over my head.

When I got home I discovered I had mixed up the Dayquil and the Nyquil. I wasn't so much sick as STONED.

Today I'm waaaay better.

3. :)
I've been kind of showing signs since last Sunday, but didn't take my temp until today. Misery loves company--I need to identify with someone!

5. I have, and co-worker's, and co-worker's families
All have sore throat, coughing, fever. So yes "something" is going around.

10. Yes but not that kind of sick
Edited on Sat May-21-11 12:57 AM by rainbow4321
Been fighting shingles of the head/scalp for a week now and was told today by the eye doc today that it has spread to my eye :( No vision problems but he started me on an eye ointment and I go back to see him tomorrow. I went to see him today because while my forehead feels much better, my eyelid was getting swollen and the eye itself was burning.

Apparently, once you see a shingle spot on your nose, they say that it is pretty safe to say there is eye involvment. Which it woulda been nice to have been told that tidbit when I was initially diagnosed earlier in the week by another doc but what can you do.

11. Allergies have been awful.
I was sick with cold like symptoms last week as well. Many people I know were/are sick.

14. Same here.
All this cold, wet weather has not helped my arthritis either. I ache from tip to toe.
