How do you get your mac to STOP connecting to the itunes store?
I'm trying to burn a disc and it keeps pausing to connect to the store. It's driving me batty.

1. Sounds like you may have some purchases or updates that haven't fully downloaded.
Look down the column on the left hand side to see if there is a spinning ball indicating a download in progress.
