8. I think I know that dog. Or another just like him. In fact there were two
of them. Same total m.o., except they were frisby junkees.
I was up at Sopiago Springs near Pioneer, in Amador county.
As long as someone would throw the frisbee, they would run and get it and fight over who got it, then bring it back.
If (whoever) stopped throwing the frisby, which was seriously worn, and chewed, and covered with about half a gallon of slimy dog saliva, and dirt and sand, the dogs would throw the frisbee onto the shoes, or the pants. Or hold it against the pants, or put it by the waist or near the hands.
And then bark and jump up until the person again threw the frisbee. If they escaped, they would move on to the next person, who would get the demanding slimy treatment until they started throwing it.
They were very large dogs and apparently had unlimited energy as this went on for hours, and took a toll on 5 or 10 people.
It was a messy dirty, dirt covered frisbee, totally slimey, and it got dirt all over nearly 10 pair of pants.
Finally the owner chained them or something. Then of course they slept, to get ready for their next session.
